Alicia Braun, MD (DC Location Only)

Dr. Alicia Braun is Board-certified in dermatology. Her career began with an undergraduate degree from Princeton University and medical credentials from the University of Maryland. Dr. Braun completed an internship at the University of Maryland Medical System and served a dermatology residency at the Washington Hospital Center.

Although she enjoys all aspects of daily practice, Dr. Braun has a special interest in laser techniques and aesthetic services as well as medical dermatology. She maintains active membership in the Women’s Dermatologic Society; Washington, DC Dermatological Society; and American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Braun also performs volunteer work in the community.

Martin Braun, MD (DC & Virginia Locations)

Dr. Martin Braun is an alumnus of Princeton University, and earned his MD at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Internship in internal medicine at University of Maryland Medical System was followed up with residency in dermatology at the Washington Hospital Center. Then Dr. Braun went on to complete a fellowship at Medical University of South Carolina in Mohs micrographic surgery.

Marisa A Braun, MD (DC & Virginia Locations)

As a Princeton University graduate, Dr. Marisa Braun completed medical studies at University of Maryland. A pediatric internship at University of North Carolina, and residency in dermatology served at George Washington University brings broad-based value to her role at Braun Dermatology & Skin Cancer Center. Dr. Braun continued her specialization with a Medical University of South Carolina fellowship program in procedural dermatology and Mohs surgery. She is Board-certified in dermatology.

With a special interest in skin cancer, she is proficient in many treatment options. Dr. Braun also performs procedures such as neurotoxins and fillers, microneedling, photodynamic therapy, laser and IPL treatments, and cosmetic mole removal. She is Board certified in Dermatology and board certified in Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery (Mohs Surgery)

Zetta Hester, MD (previously Dr. Fayos) (DC & Virginia Locations)

Dr. Hester is a Board Certified Dermatologist who specializes in adult and pediatric dermatology as well as cosmetic dermatology with a focus on neuromodulators, volume augmentation, and laser therapy.

Dr. Hester earned her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience with a minor in Physics from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. She earned her medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. She completed her Internal Medicine internship at Washington University in St. Louis and her Dermatology residency training at Georgetown University & Washington Hospital Center. Dr. Hester has received training at Children’s National Medical Center, the National Institutes of Health, and the INOVA Melanoma and Skin Cancer Center.

Dr. Hester lives in Falls Church, Virginia with her husband, baby girl, and dog, Molly

Karin Brooks, MD (DC Location Only)

Dr. Brooks is a Board Certified Dermatologist who specializes in adult and pediatric dermatology as well as cosmetic dermatology.

Dr. Brooks earned her Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology from Stanford University where she was invited to join the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa academic honors society. She earned her medical degree and completed her Internal Medicine internship at the University of California in her hometown of San Diego. After several years of conducting NIH-sponsored dermatology research at the University of California, San Francisco, she completed her Dermatology residency training at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine in Sacramento.

After living abroad for several years, Dr. Brooks has settled in Cabin John, Maryland, with her husband, three children, and their two dogs-a spunky rescue named Bailey and a sweet Cavalier King Charles spaniel named Bowie.

Dr. Chelsey Huffman, MD

Dr. Chelsey Huffman is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in seeing adult and pediatric patients. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Cumberland University in Lebanon, TN. She earned her medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health and Science Center. Dr Huffman went on to complete a dual residency in dermatology and internal medicine in Washington, DC at Georgetown University Hospital and Washington Hospital Center.

Dr Huffman loves treating a variety of dermatologic diseases including psoriasis, acne, rosacea, atopic dermatitis/eczema, non-melanoma and melanoma skin cancer, contact dermatitis, among others.

Dr Huffman grew up in Nashville, TN but fell in love with DC after completing her residency at Georgetown. She currently lives in Virginia with her husband and two Siberian huskies. She enjoys hiking with her dogs, rock climbing, scuba diving, reading fiction, and traveling.

Joseph Hudson, PA-C (DC Location Only)

Joseph Hudson is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant specializing in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Public Health, along with dual Master’s degrees in Health Science and Public Health, from The George Washington University. With over 15 years of clinical experience as a PA, Joseph is an expert in skin cancer detection, cosmetic treatments, and the diagnosis and management of a wide range of skin conditions.

He holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Dermatology(CAQ-Derm), a nationally accredited PA certification that recognizes his advanced expertise in dermatologic skills.

Joseph is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and has served as President of the DC Academy of Physician Assistants. He is also a Fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, underscoring his commitment to professional excellence and community service.

Originally from Eastern Long Island, NY, Joseph has lived in Washington, DC, for so long that he proudly considers himself a Washingtonian. He enjoys biking to the office, rain or shine and is a proud dog parent to a Doberman and a Chihuahua, who make quite the dynamic duo.

Gina DeBlasio, PA-C (DC & Virginia Locations)

Gina DeBlasio is a board-certified Physician Assistant and graduate of the George Washington University PA Program. Named Committee Member of the Year by the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) for her contributions to the SDPA’s Diplomate Fellowship Program, she helped create the premier training program for PAs in the field of dermatology. She is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants.

As a Diplomate Fellow herself, Gina is eager to help patients with all aspects of both medical and cosmetic dermatology. Since joining Braun Dermatology & Skin Cancer Center in 2015, she offers her expertise in skin cancer detection and treatment, management and education regarding chronic conditions such as acne and psoriasis, and counseling on and administration of aesthetic treatments like neuromodulators (e.g. Botox), microneedling and laser therapies.

Emma Yohannan, PA-C

Emma Yohannan is a board-certified Physician Assistant and graduate of the Radford University PA program. She has experience in medical and cosmetic dermatology, and sees both pediatric and adult patients in clinic. 

She maintains current on the PA profession and advances in dermatology through memberships to American Academy of Physician Assistants and Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants. She is also a Fellow member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. 

Emma lives in Virginia with her tabby cat, Colby, and her husky dog, Sage. She enjoys hiking locally and practicing yoga on the weekends.

Mary Schmauder, PA-C

Mary Schmauder is a board-certified physician assistant. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Virginia and both her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and Doctor of Medical Science degrees from Shenandoah University.

Mary has experience in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She is passionate about treating all dermatologic conditions in both adults and children and has a special clinical interest in psoriasis. Her professional affiliations include the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

In her free time, she enjoys cooking, riding her Peloton, and mental health advocacy.

Jennifer Rudolph, Aesthetician

Having worked in aesthetics for 21 years, Jennifer is as passionate and excited about her field today as when she first began. She can often be heard saying that she looks forward to every day of work because of the joy she receives from helping people feel better about the skin they’re in.

While Jennifer’s skin care specialty is treating aging skin, she has extensive experience working with diverse skin types and concerns of all ages. She believes in integrative dermatology which is the blending of science and holistic approaches to treat a person as a whole. This provides the most comprehensive evaluation and therapeutic recommendations.

Jennifer’s deep knowledge and warm, personality builds long-lasting relationships with her patients.

Over the years, her reputation has drawn local TV personalities and news anchors in the Washington D.C. area. Additionally, she has been featured in Bethesda Magazine and Washingtonian magazine. She has also received the “Top Vote Getter” award four times for the Reader’s Choice Awards in Bethesda Magazine.
