The prognosis is excellent, with early detection and proper treatment. Our providers recommend an annual skin cancer screening or “skin check.” This comprehensive head-to-toe evaluation identifies concerning skin lesions or skin abnormalities. If suspicious spots are found, they are noted for further surveillance or biopsied right away. Our team and facility are equipped to evaluate and treat all types of precancerous and cancerous lesions.

Two of our physicians, Dr. Martin Braun and Dr. Marisa Braun, are fellowship-trained Mohs surgeons. Mohs micrographic surgery is a precise excision technique with the highest cure rate and minimal impact on healthy surrounding tissues for less scarring.
